Relive the Israelite’s 40-year journey in the wilderness while reviewing your latest stories from Sunday school in this game that requires little setup.
Choose 30 questions from your latest lesson that can be answered “true” or “false.” Line the children up along one side of the room. Put a finish line about eight feet away.
When you ask a question, tell the children to raise their hand if they think it is true, and keep them down if they think it is false. Every child who answers correctly can take one baby-step toward the line. Define the baby step as putting one foot directly in front of the other.
You do not need to have a winner, but you can keep playing until all of the children have reached the line. The object is to review, not win, but have fun doing it. You can make the connection to the Israelites in the wilderness by talking about how long it took to make it to the line when they could only take baby steps.
